3/4″ stone (also known as CA7) is ideal as bedding stone for underground pipe as well as concrete flatwork. Bedding stone can also help prevent cracking in concrete due to the shifting ground and helps you create a more level surface by ensuring pavers or natural stone that you often see in landscape retaining walls, walkways, or patios and concrete slabs lay evenly. In fact, it is called bedding stone because it cushions your pavers and slabs from the ground beneath them.
Only one type of material can be delivered at a time. If you want, for example, stone and mulch or mulch and firewood, you need to call the office at (630) 686-8880 to place an order. The maximum quantity for dirt and stone is 6 yards. For larger quantity orders, please call the office, as we may run into weight issues with our trucks. Larger quantities are available, but delivery pricing must be adjusted for larger semis.
